And then, there was light
Ethan, the most recent member of our family, was delivered on Monday, Oct 17, 2005, after spending a full 40 weeks in his mother's womb.
We wish unto our precious son happiness and a fulfilling life ahead. Happy birthday, Ethan!
More to follow soon. It's been one heck of a week.

wow such beautiful pics!! u din hv to help janet during delivery? how did u manage to take pix? i wish i cld snap my own delivery, u know, push and snap. for certain, no one can take pix for me.
just saw more pix... he's got so much long hair and it looks brownish! but he's a sweetie.

sher: yes, i had to help during delivery, but the pushing was over once his head emerged, and i had the camera primed and slung over my shoulder. unfortunately the nurses kept getting in the way after he emerged (the other way around, certainly?) and my flash batteries chose that moment to go dead, so i didn't take as many shots as i'd have liked.
and oh yes, he's a sweetie right up to the point where he does that flying piss-and-double-poop.
